Tools of The Trade
Here you will find a lot of the tools I use on a daily basis
A three ring duster used to dust down paintwork prior to coating.
We mainly use acrylic caulk to seal gaps in skirtings and architraves as well as filling after lining. Because the caulk is acrylic it can be over painted.
A 9" Hanging Brush which I use for smoothing down the wallpaper.
I use shears to cut the paper to size
I use a plumb line to get a straight line on the wall prior to hanging the wallpaper.
I use the trimming knife to trim the tops and bottoms of the wall paper, the blades in the knife shown are teflon coated and stay sharp longer.
I use the wooden seam roller to flatten seams on normal wallpapers.
I use the soft seam roller to flatten the seams of papers that have a crushable pattern.
Rather than use a paste brush and bucket I use a scuttle and a roller which is much quicker and easier to use.
A George can be used for a number things but this one is used as a guide when achieving straight cuts in the paper.
